Profile Design Altair 52 compatability

Will I be able to fit these to Profile Design Altair 52 Semi-Carbon wheels? I have been told the gauge of the spokes may be different. The Altair's have a j-bend where the hub and spoke connect.
Staff Answer
These will indeed be compatible without an issue.

 Maloja BlesiM Bib Shorts
Maloja BlesiM Bib Shorts
Maloja's BlesiM Bib Shorts are made of a high compression Lycra material that has unique stretch and recovery properties for form stability and excellent fit along with a SAT seat pad for exceptional comfort.

Sizing

I see only size L is available, and was wondering whether it would be the right fit for me.

My dimensions are:
Chest 102 cm
Waist 88cm
Upper hips 92 cm
Hips 103 cm
Inside leg 80 cm

Thanks in advance for any advice.
Staff Answer
The large would sadly be too large for yourself and you would need the medium for optimum fit.

Are these the same as Nanoflex 2 Bib Shorts - but with a different pad?

Hi, are these the same as the new Nanoflex 2 Bib shorts but with an upgraded pad? (rather than the last range of Nanoflex shorts)
Staff Answer
It is indeed the case that this has the upgraded seat pad whilst keeping the other features the same.

Kids bike query

Interested in 20-inch MTB (unfortunately they’re not quite big enough for 24-inch wheels). Still not sure about front (fork) suspension. There seems to be very little travel, and what travel there is would likely be minimal given the rider weight of about 20kg). Tending towards a straight fork and let the kids get properly used to riding off road before letting them fully lose on of-road bikes. Looking for some advice about this and other issues (young boys wanting everything cool on their bike, eg suspension and disc breaks) vs keeping the front end light so they can actually lift it to jump things. And thoughts welcome, praisefully the bikes below. I’m also not wedded to Raleigh (comments etc welcome vs Tamult, Eva, Talus, Zero) appreciated. Any other ideas also welcome, noting two requirements – 12-16 gears. Bike price at or better than AU$/ € 200 – 300.. Cheers, Paul

Staff Answer
Your best bet would be to stick with the rigid forks as you have suggested as this will give it a much lighter front end and make it easier to get about.
One of the bikes that I would look at is the Raleigh Performance which I have linked to below.

This rear brake and caliper use the ICE technology (heat management system) that features aluminium fins to disperse heat better. The lever is ergonomic and anti-slip, whilst the caliper is high-performing. The kit is also 2ng gen. I-spec-B.

Is there an option to choose which lever this will come with

I notice there is a previous answer saying this was for a RH front lever/caliper.
I recently bought one and it was the LH rear setup.
Is there an option I can choose to make sure that the next one I buy is the RH front setup.
cheers
Staff Answer
This listing is for a rear brake though we don't have the option for a front brake at the moment I am afraid.

Shimano 6800 Ultegra 11 Speed Groupset
Shimano 6800 Ultegra 11 Speed Groupset
The Shimano 6800 groupset offers exceptional performance, second only to it's bigger brother Dura-Ace, and delivers smooth and reliable shifting across all 11 gears.

Some spec questions on upgrade from 10 speed ultegra

Hi

Can you provide some guidance on the following issues please.

I am currently using an Ultegra 6800 groupset (50/34 crank with 11-28 cassette) on a 2014 Giant Defy Advanced with Easton EA90 roadwheels with Shimano freewheel.

If I uprade to the 11 speed set 52/36 crank

Would I be able to use my existing 50/34 cranks for the winter months when my fitness might militate against using the the 52/36 cranks which I will definitely be using upon attaining summer fitness?

Can this groupset be used in conjunction with my existing Ultegra 6800 11-28 cassette? (might use the 11-25 cassette for summer riding)

Are the fittings for the 11speed compatible for use without adapters etc for the Giant Defy Advanced which is currently mounting an Ultegra 10speed set?

Thanking you
Staff Answer
You will only be able to use the 11 speed chainset with this groupset, the older 6700 chainset which I believe you have will not be compatible, likewise the cassette will also need to be upgraded to 11 speed.
