GT Grade Carbon (Tiagra - 2017) Adventure Road Bike
GT Grade Carbon (Tiagra - 2017) Adventure Road Bike
The grade is ready for everything, from freshly-paved switchbacks along mountain roads to the gravel roads you ride - and everything in between. The Grade knows no bounds.

Frame

Is this the same frame as the GT Grade with the 105 and Ultegra groupset?
Staff Answer
I can confirm that all the Grade carbon frames are the same and it is only the groupset, finishing kit and wheels that changes.

I hope this helps.

Can this fix on a campagnolo chorus groupset?

Staff Answer
I'm afraid that we do not carry this in a Campagnolo option unfortunately.

I hope this helps.

The Rotor Flow Aero crankset has been designed solely for aero road & Time Trial bikes. Designed using CFD, the Flow offers the time savings of classic aero cranks & the performance of leading road cranks, all at once.

Will this crank fit an 86mm wide (BB386Evo) frame? Is the spindle wide enough? Thanks

Staff Answer
I can confirm that this will be wide enough but due to the 30mm axle on these cranks you will need to make sure that your BB is BB30 compatible.

I hope this helps.

Will the rear light mount fit an aero seat post, e.g. the one on my Giant TCR Advanced? Cheers!

Staff Answer
I have checked this and there is not enough clearance on the bracket for the rear light for the post on the TCR.

I hope this helps.

Disc brakes

Can someone advise if I need to get separate discs to fit to the wheel? If yes what are some recommendations? Thanks
Staff Answer
I can confirm that you will need to order discs as they are not supplied with the wheels. I would also advise the ones that are best suited for your brakes.

I hope this helps.

SM-RT81 Ice-Tec rotors give excellent performance and are made from a stainless steel/alloy 3-layer sandwich construction that manages heat while riding.

How can I tell which lockring?

There seems to be 2 different lockrings from Shimano, one that uses a Bb tool on the front and one that uses a cassette tool on the rear. Is there any way to specify which one I need? The cassette tool one doesn't have clearance for a tool on my bike, it has a 15mm though axle up front.

Thanks
Staff Answer
I can confirm that these will not come with lock rings and will use the ones that should have been supplied with your bikes hubs to ensure the correct ones for the job.

I hope this helps.

 Shimano 105 5800 Groupset
Shimano 105 5800 Groupset
Now in 11 speed, these components draw down technology from the Shimano Dura-Ace and Ultegra groupsets.

Options not clearly visible???

The top choice in the selection table for this groupset is : 50.34t 11 speed 172.
Does this mean that is comes with the 172.5 crank and the 11-32 cassette???
User submitted photo
Staff Answer
Our apologies for the error in this listing. The 172 in this case is the crank arm length, the 50/34t is the tooth count on the chainset and on this option it is the 11-28t cassette.

I hope this helps,

The LifeLine ANT+ Heart Rate Transmitter is comfortable and easy to use. With the ability to track your heart rate comes the ability to take your performance to the next level.

Should I remove the battery in between rides to extend it's life?

Staff Answer
This will extend the life very slightly but as soon as the unit disconnects from the device the power draw goes down to a very small amount so will still give you a good battery life.

I hope this helps.
