" Nice and creamy, unlike other recovery shakes I've used that you mix with water. Tastes pretty decent and subjectively and anecdotally seems to be quite effective at aiding with recovery, though of course it's hard to scientifically test! :)
Only minor issue was finding the scoop inside the tub - it was well buried!
Of course, like most powdered shakes, the dust can make a small mess even if you're reasonably careful.
The price I got it from Wiggle was decent, but I'm not sure I'd pay the RRP. "

" Works great. Be aware that the 34t is a "megarange" cassette that has the same sprocket sizes as the 30t except that the 30t is replaced by a 34t, leaving a big jump from 28t straight up to 34t. It's an effective way of getting a broad spread of gearing with most of the gaps being ok, but does give a big jump to the lowest gear. I've found that on some gradients you could do with something in between, but it is manageable if you are happy either spinning 100+ rpm in the lowest gear or grinding 70 rpm in the second sprocket. Would have been really helpful if wiggle listed the full list of sprocket sizes for each option so you know what to expect. "
Pros: High Quality, shifts fairly well

However the quality of finish isn't nearly as good as pre-SRAM avid brake levers. The corners are a bit rough in places (eg around the bar clamp bolt), and they just don't really look that smart. "

" So, this camera mount is very good for use with a Sony Action Cam, either way up. It's rock solid giving a very stable picture. However at the very high price it should be absolutely perfect and it isn't quite.
The screw which functions as the anti-rotation stud (credit due for including one!) should be threadlocked into the mount but isn't - it was fortunate I didn't lose mine as it fell out in the garage!
Also some people find the screw a bit short for some cameras. It's find on my Sony.
Last and very minor moan is that if you don't have the camera attached, it rattles. "
Pros: Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged, allen key recess aids fitting and removing camera
Cons: Expensive, anti-rotation stud needs threadlock, screw could be longer

Will one cylinder inflate a 26"x2.25 MTB tyre to 30psi?

What pressure will a single 16g cartridge inflate a 26x2.25" MTB tyre to? I've heard that MTB tyres can need two cartridges to inflate fully but I'm not sure whether this is just for people that like to run hard tyres. As I run mine around 25-30psi I'm unsure how many canisters I will need to carry for each tyre fill.

Is this compatible with racks with two vertical holes?

The light mount that came with my Blackburn EX-1 rack has two holes vertically aligned. I think they are somewhere around 20-25mm spacing.

Does this bracket fit such holes? I see a screw hole at the top that looks like it might fit the upper hole - is there a stud or another screw hole lower down to fit this?

Is there any other cateye bracket that would fit suck mounting holes?

Thanks.

Pannier bags

I have a Topeak babysitter rack (old style). When the child seat is not being used, can I use the rack to add pannier bags - if so any particular sort for sale on wiggle that would work? Thanks
Top 1000 Contributor
Top 1000 Contributor
Yes, this will work with most panniers. The non-disc version only has a slight kink in the legs, and not enough to cause an issue with Ortliebs, for example. I highly recommend these. Not cheap but will last for years and are properly waterproof.

The disc version has a more pronounced kink, which means some panniers don't fit so well.

Is the Topeka child seat compatible with all bikes?

Top 1000 Contributor
Top 1000 Contributor
No, not all bikes unfortunately. You need to have rack mounts both near the top of the seatstays (the part of the frame running from below the seat to the rear axle) and on the rear dropouts (near the rear axle)

In addition, some more frame geometries you could run into trouble, especially where the chainstays are short or the seat angle is very laid back, at certain saddle heights. This can make it hard to keep the child seat far enough from the back of the saddle. Most hard-tail or rigid mountain bikes with rack mounts will fit fine.

Should be fine for a hybrid. If you're using it over carpet there's quite a high chance you'll end up with dirt from the bike on the carpet! I would try to stand it on somethig hard as the feet could easily sink into carpet quite a bit.
