" I use the yellow cleats with some 105 pedals, and they work really well with these. They last pair I had lasted 18 months including walking around between getting on the bike.
I would recommend these to anyone who wants to use cleats since they are easy to clip in and slip out of the pedals. Even though they have some float be sure to take the time to correctly set them up to ensure best power transfer and avoid toe and ankle issues.. "

" Bought a couple of these in the wiggle sale at a great price recently. One is to replace the current KMC chain on the compact set up on my Boardman which is now worn after about 2000 miles riding.
The other to fit when I commence an end to end ride in May, as doing lots of miles in training and 2k miles seems to be the point where this chain wears to 1/8 inch mark.
It really does take a couple of minutes to fit with the missing link system and cleaning and relube is also easier due to this. "

" Used these today to change the 10 speed chain on my Boardman. they made the job really simple and the missing link was undone and off in seconds with no issues.
The handles are comfortable and the tool is the right size to be functional. It seems robust and of good quality materials "

" Firstly, the medium was a good snug fit over my hand without being overstretched and the material feels and looks good. The palm surface has grippers and there is sufficient material length at the cuff. I plan to use these over fingerless gloves between spring and autumn to take the chill out of early morning rides.
The only point I would raise is that the inner finger seems are really thick and you can feel them at your finger tips. This can be distracting, but not so uncomfortable as to render the gloves unusable- just a minor irritation at first that slips out of your mind when you get into a ride. "
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: bulky seams in fingers

" Bought for my other half when out running, She loves the colour and styling, She also says it is comfortable, warm and functional.
The only issue is the sizing as it is too large for her head and in heavy wind can blow off sometimes. "

" On durability, I have been using my Sottile for well over a year now, the zip still operates smoothly and I have washed it many times without issue.
On Looks, it is made by Castelli so enough said.
On sizing, at 5'10", 11 1/2 stone and 38" chest I normally fit a large in Castelli, but for this item I found a medium fits me best and reduces the amount of spare material in the arms.
On performance, the jacket does keep the rain off and also offers some limited wind resistance. On warmer rides I do find I get a little sweaty underneath, but overall it is a good bit of lit to have in your back pocket.
Talking of back pockets, it wraps up so small that you might forget it and not put it out to air when you get home- something not to be advised if you have taken it off after it has rained!
All in all a good jacket- not excellent but good enough for the price. "

" A turbo trainer is a good idea to keep the legs in order given the English weather, especially if you want to keep your fitness over the winter months.
This is a great trainer. simple, solid, full of quality touches and a great price. It's very easy to set up - simply bolt the fluid roller unit to the frame
Replace the quick release skewer in your rear wheel with the one provided, put the bike onto the trainer, align the rear skewer and then turn the handle to secure the bike in the frame. The frame is steel and feels really secure.
Weight pushes the bike wheel onto the roller at the right tension, there is no adjustment needed as it's all done by the gears on your bike. It is quiet, smooth and the resistance is adjusted by the gears.
Buy the front wheel riser block as well for an awesome workout in your garage "

" This clip is very versatile and allows me to mount my Cateye rapid 5 light to my topeak saddle bag, rear jersey pocket or my rucksack.
Its a bit of plastic at the end of the day but it does hold the light secure in the mounting and has not bounced off the saddlebag over many a Leicester pothole. "

" I have been using mine for the past year on my road bike. It sits perfectly flush on the crossbar just behind the handlebar stem. It is the same width as the stem so nice, neat and compact.
There is enough space to get two sets of keys, two energy bars, paracetamol, an iphone and some spare cleat screws in mine. Alternatively, I can get a banana in there if I leave the top open. The waterproof cover works as well- it really has taken all the british weather can offer and passed with flying colours
All in all a top purchase for the price "

Hi Rick,
I also have to size up with Castelli from Medium to large, and its the same for me with their gloves- My hands are a medium in other brands of gloves but a large in Estremo- so in your case I advise you go for L/XL

Top 100 Contributor

I would not advise you to wear an underglove with the Diluvio neoprene gloves. If the gloves are not a snug and tight fit then you have the wrong size. It is the neoprene contact with the skin that makes damp hands feel dry-and keeps them warm

There isn't a great deal of difference between the male and female specific glasses particularly, other than the size of the nose bridge which is narrower on female models.

The main factor is the difference between the bone structure of male and female faces. To sum up, what really matters is the size of your face. Would advise you try a pair on at your LBS first.
