Are blue or green road legal?
I thought you were only meant to use such coloured lights if you're a response vehicle or doctor respectively.

Road traffic legislation sets out the standard for obligatory lights, and requires a white light to be shown to the front and a red light to the rear.
The ' ROAD VEHICLE LIGHTING REGULATIONS 1989' Reg.16 " says that "Except for emergency vehicles it is an offence to fit a blue warning beacon or special warning lamp or device resembling such, whether working or not"
However, the flash from one of these lights is pathetic when compared to the standard of the police emergency strobe and the word 'resembling' leaves this open to interpretation. My advice would therefore be that provided the other colours are used as an addition to your standard lights then there is not problem with using them.
Probably the only time where my knowledge as a police officer will come in handy on this site...
