" These are well made, and good for summer (Melbourne, OZ) riding. I wear and have worn these socks for temperatures from 18 to 38c. Let's face it, at 38 the heat off the bitumen is cooking your feet anyway, but these are my preferred summer sock. Not cheap, ASSOS never is, but highest quality. "
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit

" Bought these for my wife... > 55 yo, long term arthritis sufferer, day tourer. These are the first grips that have done what they claimed to do... Supported her wrists, reduced numbness, so for the first time In years she rode without wrist pain. Well worth the price. "

" Bought my first set of 700 x23c about 12 months ago. Road and path riding so far 4500 km (2700 miles) without a puncture. The tyres are quite heavy, but for training, are hassle free. They took a little effort getting them onto my rims, but I have changed plenty of tighter tyres. "

How many km would you reasonably expect to get out of these tyres before they need replacing.

I'M AT 7000K, 84kg weekend warrior, no punctures, but losing a few threads from the side walls. I've just ordered another set, but figure I've got around 1000 k still in them.

Winter Riding

Is this tyres suitable for winter riding, if not any suggestions, I'm after a tyre with great puncture protection like these or marathon plus that are good for winter cycling.
I'm now 7000 k (4,350 MILES) on these tyres, the last 1,000 on very wet roads. .. still no punctures. (4,500 k on my other bike, no punctures)

Can I attach a mirror?

You can fit a mirror only if it doesn't need to clamp on the outside of the bar. The black bar-end plug is separate from the actual grip, so if your mirror plugs into the bar, rather than clamping on to it, you will be able to fit it.

Bar ends

Hi. Is the lock ring on this grip such that it will not slide up the bar to allowed for a bar end.?I have seen contradicting comments on here regarding this. Can I have a definitive answer please.
Thank you
These wont slide to allow for Bar Ends. The actual end of the bar butts up against the inside of the lock ring... I checked it. These are 130mm long, end to end.
