" These are a great set of nic's, they are comfortable and keep my legs warm and dry. i hate it when the weather turns cold and the road gets damp. these are the bib shorts to grab. the chamois is still comfortable after a 5 hr ride.
i try to buy a quality bit of kit each year to build up a collection. now I know that these are the only one's I'll use in winter, as I combine them with knee warmers. perfect, as the temp may get close to zero but warms up to say 10 degrees C. so I take the knee warmers off later in the ride and I'm good. i hate the feeling of having a set of bib shorts that I can't take off below the knee.
i added feature of having a reflective strip on the knee band gripper is a great idea to stay visible. it works.

" great item for the price, why pay double for the ultergra when you can add almost two of these for the cost of a couple of grams. i'm not a gram checker, as the motor needs an overhaul and shed off 5 kg. so what's a couple of grams. "

" First and for most, it is great to have a shoe size that fits a larger foot. i'm a EU45 and these fit great.
the colour is bright as expected. the reflective stripping all the way around the sock is some thing that others should note. why?, other road traffic can see the movement that catches the eye. hence making me visable and safer.
the sock has gone through some cold weather whilst keeping my toes warm. i do use toe covers that help but feet can still get cold. with these i'm happy.

" The chino trouser is a great pair of trousers. They are primarily a smart chino style that I use to commute into work on a non-training day or over the weekend to ride to the local coffee shop.
The team have put some thought into the design with a right leg fastener with reflective tape, the back pockets that reveal some more reflective tape. Very subtle and discrete. The extra material that works as a chamois through the crouch does not replace the real thing but helps. They look fine.
The cut of the chino is of the “slim” fit. If you are of the classic road cyclist, skinny wiry build then you will be fine and enjoy them. However I’m more the classic sprinter/track rider, who has larger, well defined quads. My recommendation is to go up one size to get them to fit around the quads. I have to then where a belt all the time. It would be great to see the team at Ted Baker produce a wider cut.
Over all they are a great trouser and stylish. No one has recognised that these are riding trousers. That is a positive.

" Add a bit of colour to the world. i picked this item to be the same colour as my riding club's colours. which is blue, a bit over the top, however this is a great silicon cover that slips snugly over my Garmin 510.
it is still possible to work all the buttons that are required. it does help protect the unit from dirt and water landing on the unit. i enjoy it and will get a few more to make my socks or jersey. all good fun.

" this is a small lock that fits in my back pocket. when at the cafe getting a coffee or at the shops get some milk/bread, it is quick to slip out and lock the bike.
the cable is sufficent to stop some one to walk away with the bike. it may not work against cutters or heavy pliers.
when i need more protection i use in combination with another U type lock.
it is funky and a fun lock. easy to use and the cable will retract back without any problems. "

" this is a very light jacket which is perfect for the rain weather or when cold.
i've been using this as a jacket when training day's are due to be wet weather. it folds up into itself like pocket. it fits easly into a rear pocket.
I will keep the rain off, but i did find that i did get warm. this is great on the cool mornings. i did not get all sweaty as some jackets can do.
i would recommend this product. "

" I am happy with this pair of shoes, i will say that i did have to go a half size bigger. i'm a true uk size 10 and had to get a 10.5,
do like the toe cap that has a big coverage for keeping the water off.
great when i have used this off the tarmac on the track.

" i bought this bike to get around the city, to and from work, a quick trip down to the shops or to the gym.
i wanted a bike that was practical and a good ride.
if your after a carbon road or full suspension mt bike then go look at them. this is made of steel.
the styling is eye catching. i get stopped and asked where did i get it, or i come out of the shop to see people admiring its lines.
most think it is a fixie by the internal hub. i love the hub. it keeps all the gears inside. the area i ride has lots of sand in the soil and wears out chains and rear derailors. just have to clean and oil the chain. easy. The hub looks very clean with no dangling bits or cassette seen and is responsive. i use all 8 gears, by which time i'm doing 50km's. the low gears are sufficent for nearly all hills. i can get up a 1:6 hill.
the disc brakes are responsive and work. great for when the car or other traffic requires you to take action.
Overall very happy, i have added front and rear mud gardes and a dynimo light (that runs of the from hub) for the winter weather. s

Will it fit in a jersey Pocket?

It says 'packable'. Does that mean it will fit in a jersey pocket?

when it is in the storage bag or rear pocket , it is a little bit larger than a tennis ball or oragne. so yes it would fit into a pocket. i love to keep it in my day pack on my commute to and from work.

DHB L\S Jersies

Windslam, Windslam Roubaix, Momentum.
What's the difference between them? Not a lot after reading the descriptions.
Which is warmest?
Top 1000 Contributor
Top 1000 Contributor
i don't have the momentum jersey, but have the windslam.
i have a Roubaix jersey that i wear under the std windslam on days at or below zero (-5 to 2 deg c). i use the std windslam for days warmer, ie 3 to 10 ded c) and the Roubaix only for (8 to 15 deg c).

as the wind is cut out by the windslam i heat up really well. i have to start unzipping it to allow air flow through.

the Windslam Roubaix would be the warmest.

Roubaix version

What's the difference between the "dhb Long Sleeve Windslam Jersey" and the "dhb Long Sleeve Windslam Roubaix Jersey"?

How is this Jersey different to the Roubaix variant?

I just need something to keep me warm on cold windy morning rides (8-12 'C). I'll be pairing it with a long sleeve base layer.
Top 1000 Contributor
Top 1000 Contributor
the Roubaix version has a fluffy feeling much like polar fleace.
the std wind slam version feels like a thicker jersey.

i use the "std wind slam" for cold mornings (3-10 deg C). i have to move the zip down once i get warmed up, as the wind is not cutting through.
for mornings that a colder (-5 to 2 deg C) i'll pop a roubaix jersy under the std windslam. i wish they had the Roubaix version when i purchased the std windslam.

i would recommend the std windslam with the long sleeves.

you are correct, the vents on the sides do have zips from almost the under arm to the lower back pocket. there is vents under the rear pocket which are intergrated into the rear pockets.

hi,
i'm 185 cm high and a simular 100 cm chest. i bought the Large. this was more based on the inside leg length. i have adjusted the t bar up at the swival joint but this was more for my sitting position.
i would expect the XL to fit.
