" I'm a rider and needed hiviz warm gloves for winter time.
The first characteristic is very good, very visible and in 0-10°c temps, they perform brilliantly at a 25kph avg speed. No sweating at 10°c which is nice.
However under 0°c, you freeze... at -5°c at 25kph, it's like -12°c...

Bought this because of good reviews and the available Hi-viz color.
But it is a disappointment for several reasons:

- velcro to close the overshoe underneath the shoe isn't suitable for MTB SPD shoes at all
- the height of the shoe is too short compared to my old BBB water flex overshoes. So in a downpour, water gets in... Was fine with BBB model

The flashy yellow color is great but that is it. Maybe, there are fine with road shoes but I can't use them. so going back to BBB water flex next time.

" I've bought and installed my second set of Duranos 4 and half months ago. After just over 5000k, I've swapped rear/front to optimize the wear. I expect them to last at least another 5000k.
I had a puncture on rear after 1000k but it think it was bad luck because that's the only one so far.
My previous set went to my raleigh steel bike as I don't ride it as much. Those were normal Duranos (not the Duranos +) and after 8500k, I had 3 punctures and despite the fact they look awful (micro cuts all over), I think they will last another 1000-2000k.
To install, they are easy. All Schwalbe tyres are btw.
So overall, the best tyres you can find. Price is really good considering the lifespan. For me, it is one set per year, not that expensive at the end. Definitely recommended.

" I bought this because I've got only one spare inner tube left (Schwalbe road one) and since they are 6-7 quid each, I was looking to test puncture repair kit to save some money.
I always was unsure to the efficiency these but, wow, these patches are super good. If you apply it right (e.g. don't touch the sticking part!), it is as if your tube is brand new.
I've applied it in dry conditions and after a full week at 110psi with Schwalbe tube and Durano tyre, it didn't loose one bit of air.

" Second chain I buy, first was gold, second was silver. The gold lasted 3200k, the silver is 3200k ongoing and it hasn't reach 0.5 wear. So I'm confident to go to 4000k, which I'm fine for 30 quid.
Works well with Shimano drivetrain
Plus, I love the quick link system : which take seconds to brake/put back the chain together :)

I'm really interested to get a pair but impossible to find a local shop that sells them here in Dublin.
I'd like to know the measuring in cm or inch of the different sections of the shoe as shown on this image (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2j01q2xtCOtc0tVdC1vbHpCQzA/edit?usp=sharing) so I can know which size to buy or a close enough idea.
If anyone has either of these size 44/45/46, I'd really appreciate if you can share the dimensions.

are these overshoes suitable for mtb shoes
I've a 46 EU shimano MT42 and with the biggest size, it is not good. I'd recommend the BBB water flex in the biggest size instead because I had two pair already they were fine.

Schwalbe Durano S Performance Folding Tyre
The faster Durano that is the true successor to the Stelvio. Dynamic slick profile and lots of colours available. Somewhat less durable than the regular Durano, but lighter and with lower resistance.

I have a Felt Z95 that I use daily for my 10 mile commute. I also use my bike for the occasional triathlon. I've had 2 punctures in my standard road tyres recently and am looking to buy something a bit tougher. Please can you tell me

I have read that the Durano Plus is very puncture resistant but also hard to fit. Would you agree? Is it way better than the standard Durano?

I've bought the normal Durano and Durano Plus and both are perfect regarding puncture resistance (in total 4 punctures in 14000k done in Dublin City)
As far as fitting them, both are not hard to fit at all. I remember having Conti GP4000 and those were a real pain compared to Duranos.

You can fit 700c tyres on any rim which size is 622c.
Regarding the width, your wheel is 622x13 so you have the choice of tyre sizes between 700x20c to 700x28c.
