" I actually bought both lights in this set separately, as I needed a good front light about a year ago, and more recently wanted a rear light of the same quality.
The front light is excellent, it illuminates the whole road when I'm cycling home at night on unlit country roads and I feel really safe with it. I've had it about a year and it hasn't fallen off once, and seems very secure. It also lasts a long time between charges, and not battery buying to worry about!
The rear light, on the other hand, is very disappointing. When it is on it is a great rear light, very bright and again the USB charging is very useful. However, it has one fatal flaw: unlike its front partner, it falls out of its holder when cycling over reasonably small bumps in the road. I bought it about two months ago, and have had it fall off three times in that period, the most recent of which resulted in me losing it, so much for it being an investment! I now need to buy a new rear light, and I certainly won't be getting another of these!
Would definitely recommend getting the front light only, but find a different rear light!

" I bought a Lezyne Macro front bike light last year and have been very happy with it (and still am), so when my most recent cheap rear light ran out of battery, I decided to make an investment and buy a proper rear light and went for the lezyne Micro rear light to match. I have a light road tandem that needs new tyres. I have these on my regular road bike that I use daily and really like their durability. Most tandem tyres seem to be quite clunky, as they're designed for the extra weight. I was just wondering if these would actually be okay as we're quite a light tandem team (barely 120 kg), and the bike is so light too. Was planning on getting 25C.

I was just wondering if these would actually be okay as we're quite a light tandem team (barely 120 kg), and the bike is so light too. Was planning on getting 25C.
Went for them and they've been great so far! May move them across to my bike when the tyres wear out on that and move to a pair of size 28Cs for the tandem, but these are sufficiently strong road tyres to put up with the weight of the tandem seemingly.

How secure is the fitting - it looks like light will bounce out.
It is not secure, I bought this light two months ago and it has fallen out three times when riding over small bumps in the road, the last of which resulted in me losing it, I now need a new bike light and and not impressed at the price for something that falls off so easily.
