Vision 1 LED Front Light 2012
Vision 1 LED Front Light 2012
This fantastic little light may just be the best addition to your night riding you can make as it a single high powered LED that pushes out 240 lumens on max power!

" I thought the quality wouldn't live up to the price but it does, as you'd expect from HOPE i suppose. The clamp design is great if you use more than one bike. "
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, brighter than a very bright thing from brighton
Cons: Expensive

Does this light flash or is it static, what is the burn time on flash if so?

It has 4 different static brightness levels and a flashing mode.

Does this come with a QR bracket or not?

One of the reviews says no bracket - the bike mag review says it's excellent!
The QR clamp comes with the lamp and is attached to the lamp with a hex bolt. It's a very good design if you have more than one bike. Also with practice you can remove the lamp from your handlebars with one hand.

Has anyone had any problems with this?

I cannot seem to use the medium high and max settings on this light. I am using Duracell batteries until my uniross rechargeables come and I can only use Low. If I press it twice it lights up for a bit then turns off. Has anyone else had this? Is it because the Duracell ones are not powerful enough?
Yes, run down batteries do not have sufficient voltage to power the lamp at the higher intensities, which is a bit annoying if all you want is flashing to eek out the last of the power.

thank you
The button press cycle on this lamp is:
0. Off
1. Low (still to bright to look at)
2. Medium
3. High
4. Ridiculous
5. Flashing
And then goes back to 1, press and hold to turn off.
