" Can't fault them. Easy to fit if you ignore the instructions which seemed to be for a different model. No rattles, light, and very adjustable. Off course, now that I have mudguards I haven't had to ride in the rain so I can't comment on their performance. "

" this mirror lasted about a month on my commuter. Then the bike fell over and landed on the mirror braking the ball joint. If you leave the ball joint loose then it wont break when the bike is knocked but you will have to continually adjust the mirror, especially on bumpy roads. If the do the ball joint up tight it will break the first time the bike falls over. My quest for a good mirror continues. "

" this bag has every feature I wanted. Will hold tube, tools and phone when it is expanded. The mounting loops are very adjustable. It has a loop on the back to hook a rear light through and some loops underneath you can hang a cable lock from. Quite an improvement from the 10 year old bag it replaced whose zip finally gave up. "

" comfortwise these are the second best knicks I have owned and they were considerably cheaper than the best. After reading the the reviews that their sizing might be a bit small I went up a size on normal and they fit perfectly. The solid colours are a nice change from black or black with stripes, etc. "

" This is the only mirror I have used which works on a roadbike. The mirror adjustment is not easily knocked out. It is also the least subject to vibration of any that I have used. Even its small size is not such a disadvantage as expected. Only problem is the mirror optics. Mine has some small dimples and light scratches on it. With such a small mirror you need every bit of field of visdion you can get. "

" I have been trying various mirrors and reached the conclusion that nothing ticks all the boxes. The 2 biggest problems are the speed with which the mirror goes out of adjustment and the image blurring due to vibration. This mirror with its short stalk is better than some I have used but it's still easy to knock it out of adjustment and it vibrates much the same as mirrors with a longer stalk. "

 Topeak TourGuide Handlebar Bag
Topeak TourGuide Handlebar Bag
Affordably priced, medium sized handlebar bag with positive locking, quick release 2-piece handlebar bracket and a mounting device for a cycle computer.

Size of Map case on top of Topeak TourGuide Handlebar Bag

1. What's the visible / see thro area of the map case when mounted on the bike ?
2. It looks like it's folded in the picture. - Is it removable and is it then bigger if we can unfold it ? - What size ?
Is the map case see thro on both sides ?
Thanks.
1. 165mm x 110mm

2. It is folded once. It is held on with velcro. You need to unfold it to change pages, etc. Unfolded it is 230mm x 110mm. the case is see thru both sides but the velcro mounting means it has to be mounted with one side up.

I have additional brake levers on the top of my drop bars - would the bag/bracket be in the way? bike is a boardman cx team.
the bag sits about 50mm in front of my bars and extends about 140mm either side of the stem.

Shimano A530 SPD Single Sided Touring Pedals
Ideal pedal for recreational riders wanting to commute or tour. Combines SPD mechanism on one side and a concave stable platform pedal body on the other, you can ride with cleats or normal shoes.

Can you use SH56 cleats with these pedals?

I see the description says that these are compatible with the SH51 cleat but I wondered if I could use the SH56 (multi-release) cleats with these instead as I'd be using them for commuting and would maybe need to clip out quicker than normal on some occasions!
they come with a set of cleats in the package so if they don't fit your current cleats you can change them. The release tension is adjustable. I have mine set very loose for commuting.

Are these the reflective version?

The vittoria website lists the reflective band as 'optional' - I can't see it specified here.

(see http://www.vittoria.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=8101&Itemid=122)
I ordered 2 recently. One came with a reflective strip, one didn't.

Will this work (without significant alterations) with a standard shimano derailleur or does it need a MTB derailleur?

works fine with my shimano 105 derailleur which is usually fitted to roadbikes not MTB
