" Totally impressed with this Moon light. Already done 4 hour long rides on my 19mile commute half pitch dark country roads, half town and there is no loss of the brilliant beam. Even on lowest setting (350lumens) visibility is excellent, for poor conditions there is loads in reserve on the higher brightness settings. My only doubts approaching this purchase were on 1. quality (unfair doubt not knowing the Moon brand)- in reality the unit has a really solid feel, lovely soft 'suitcase' to pack helmet unit, solid but compact lithium unit, extension wiring and light and 2. unbelievable value from Wiggle (could it be any good?)- it is! and 3. the unit looks bulbous and big on the photoes- in reality it is neat and sleek- and 3 LEDs must add a degree of failure protection. Quality of beam is also excellent, not a pokey pencil beam and not wasteful 360 but intelligent bright spot with a generous rim. At this price it has half paid its way already. I wouldnt dock it a star but for future development I would comment that the flashing 1000 lumens in my opinion would probably startle oncoming petrol and gives no battery saving over the steady 350 so I'll go mostly with that. Having gone through expensive Lupine lights that failed before paying their (expensive) way and Cateye with recognised front light contact failures- this is the way to go. "
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable

This appears to be reduced to clear. Is it really going to be in stock again end of January?

I wondered if it would come in again. It did! and was delivered within 36 hours without trying to queue jump or anything!

how does this mount on a helmet

Is it possible to use this as a headtorch without a helmet mounted onto a head strap?
No. Quality, solid helmet fitting though. Light enough that I have cross countried with it on the helmet, Lithium pack in jacket top pocket.
