" Lovely, good fit although comes up slightly small as with all dhb so order accordingly. Only slight criticism is the phone pocket is too small. Smart phones are getting larger and it’s next to impossible to get a small one now and iPhone 7 is a tight squeeze. I’m not a fan of putting phone in saddle bag in case it pings off!
Love the colour, great to have a bright option that isn’t fluorescent. "
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value

" Good quality tri suit, comfortable when on, the usual bun fight to get over the hips as with all suits. Comfort on the bike was good at Olympic distance, so the pad does it's job! I would prefer shorter legs (they are an inch or two above the knee on me and I'm 5'6"), but the legs stay in place beautifully despite much mincing around with the wetsuit. The longer legs also don't seem to produce the sausage effect either, always a bonus.
Size wise I was between the small and medium and am glad I went medium in the end. As a guide I'm a relatively small 10 so I would say the small is only for the genuine 8's among us. Although the suit fits great, the bra (detachable thank goodness) feels like a vice when worn, so that got ditched. Goodness only knows how they expect women who are actually in possession of proper boobs to fit into it! The only other observation is that the back pocket is, as described in other reviews, awkward. Abit too shallow and awkward to get gels into easily at transition, or have any confidence that they would stay there although mine did actually stay in place. There are leg pockets though for those that like them. Didn't really bother me as I prefer to have gels strapped to the bike for the most part.
Over all good suit, comfortable in the places that really matter, pretty flattering and supportive. "

" well these are a vast improvement on the mavics that I purchased when I origionally got my first road bike. I didn't get on with them from the get go and, as a then novice to clip ins, they were stiff and unweildy and boardering on dangerous despite being adjusted by my lbs.
These are so much easier, trouble free clicking in and out and a nice wide platform which feels like it gives a much more direct point of contact in my opinion.
my only slight criticism is that when you do (inevitably) end up accidental landing your free foot on the underside, pulling away from junctions etc, it's a very slippery surface. Not the end of the world, and an element of pilot error at times, but does need care at times.
In a nutshell: simple, straightforward pedals. Not fancy but a good basic platform that will not let you down.
Would I recommend to a friend? I did and she's likes them too . .. .

Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit

" After a solid year of cycling I was no longer feeling happy about trusting my grey matter to a helmet purchased for about £15 from a well known highstreet cycling emporium many years ago. As some of my routes involve legging it up a dual carriageway in various degrees of fear, I have no doubt that a seriously cheap helmet would offer seriously cheap protection.
This was in the sale, well reduced down from £90 and excellent value. It is comfortable, light, and rather less of a mushroom than others on the market. There were a few issues with comfort when combining with sunglass arms, but these were easily sorted with a few adjustments. The strap adjustments are alittle fiddly for the chin strap but secure once done, but easy for the back rachets.
I suppose you never really know how good a helmet is until you have a smash in it and, as my proudest achievement is negotiating a year in cleats without falling off, I hope I never find out. But I fell a whole lot more comfortable whizzing aroud in this. "

" i bought these as an inbetween seasons glove as my wimpy fingers can no longer cope in short glovesm but my long fingered winter ones are just a step too far!
These are well fitting, attractive, gloves. HOWEVER. Where is the palm padding? Non-existant! Having said that I'm not finding it a problem on shorter rides, and maybe other handlebars are better padded than my Allez, but I wouldn't really want to wear them for 2 + hrs. Shame though as they are pretty great other than that, and fantastic value in the sale!

" These were recommended by a friend and good job too as I'm not sure I would have braved the three figure price tag without some idea if they were worth it. Thank goodness for assos though. As the owner of a rather 'firm' saddle these shorts have made the severe pain experienced on longer rides a thing of the past.
Now lets get real here ladies no padding is ever going to make you think 'yippee this is bliss' when you sit astride a wee racing saddle. However I no longer feel 'damaged' the next day and am not forced to shift around in the saddle constantly, some thing my old dhb bibs could not quite manage. The waist band is spot on, nice and low at the front, no pressure at all, and perfect rise at the back. Very little sausage effect on the thighs thanks to the rear only grippers. Ladies these shorts are about as flattering as cycle shorts can get (admittedly not their purpose, but who wants to look like more of a numpty than they need to). Size wise go larger, I'm a UK 10 and went for the large as i hate any midrift pressure, which is right on. Although I expect I could have got into the medium, despite being slightly loose they seem to hold themselves up no problem. I have only deducted a star for value for money as I'm not sure that anything so small, over £100 can ever really be 'value for money' but I will definitely buy Assos again, these have transformed my riding experience. " As a loather of cycle shorts (why do the waists have to be simon cowell esq?!), the purchase of a suit seemed to be the only way to preserve my bottom, without searing stomach cramps, on the long (20m) cycle to work. I approached this purchase with trepidation as all in one lycra has never filled me with joy. However I have been most pleased with the finchdean suit. Not only was it extremely reasonable compared to the others available, but the sensible colouring and styling left me feeling like less of an idiot than I was expecting on my first outing.
Despite the suit looking the appropriate size for a 12 year old when I pulled it out of the box, it fits beautifully and the uk sizing appears to be pretty accurate. The only reason I have given 4stars for performance is the total lack of pockets, even just a small phone/keys pocket would be sufficient. But this is a small complaint for an excellent buy.

Hello my hip measurement is 95cm which size should i get

not good at computing cm to inches here. However I am a size 10 and I was advised to go for a large rather than the medium I would have gone for otherwise. These shlorts have been extremely comfortable. I would guess that I could have got in to the mediums, but might have felt constricted round the waist. For the record these are great shorts and well worth the ridiculous price tag, making a huge difference to my comfort levels.

What is the size guide for these shorts?

I'm usually a size 8 - but I'm quite tall (175cm) - can you provide a more detailed size guide?

Cheers
Hi, I think it depends on if you are after any compression. I am a uk 10 (or at least I was at time of purchase!) and on reccomendation from a friend got the large as I cannot stand any tightness around the waist area. they have been super comfortable, awesome shorts, and have transformed my cycling comfort levels!
I'm not sure how uk sizing works in Oz but thats about a USA 6 and I think the mediums would have been ok especially if I wanted any compression.

Size guide for Nema gloves?

Hi there, just wondering if there is a size guide for the Nema gloves,as the one supplied dosent seem to included gloves. Thanks a lot
If it's any help. I have diddy hands and usually wear 6.5 gloves. I got the small and they are perfect. I would think that size 7 would also be fine in this size but no bigger.

Hi, what do the white ladies assos shorts look like from behind?

I noticed there is a strip of black at the back, but wondered if this covered the complete back of the shorts or if just a strip down the side.
This covers the whole of the back, which actually makes them much more flattering when viewed fom the side.
