" It's okay- you definately need something to raise the front wheel, if you're going to use a turbo.
Its good at what it does, but at the end of the day you are paying £16 for a piece of plastic which you could easily replace with a few books/planks etc.

The Crono Fluid uses a sealed hydrodynamic system that regulates the effort of the pedalling through a rotor submerged in oil. It smooth and quiet and the frame delivers total stability allowing you to train hard. Superb indoor trainer choice.

" Overall I think its a good buy, especially for the price. Most points have already covered, but here's my opinion:
Pros
It's quiet- the noise from the chain is probably loader
Very quick and easy to set up- especially if you have a spare wheel
Not too heavy
Folds up and can be stored easily
Cons
Doesn't have loads of resistance, if I try I can spin out on my top gear-
52x12 ( only half a minus point, its resistance is okay, just not great for all out efforts)
It uses your weight to keep the tyre against the roller, so if you get out of the saddle the tyre slips every now and again.
If you wanted to train to a plan it might be easier to get a turbo with specific resistance levels
Doesn't come with block for front tyre- most turbos don't, but its pretty hard to use the turbo without one.

" For a jersey worth £90, I was expecting something top of the range. However it just isn't.
When I first got it, all the leaflets were badly crumpled up- which made me wonder whether it was even new. I got the black version, but it's not very black and its covered in white 'fuffs' which seem to be from the white inside. No matter how hard I try I can't get rid of them. From a distance it looks blackish.
It doesn't seem very durable either, after only one 80km ride the seam seperating the two back pockets started to split and one seams in the sleeve cuffs started to unravel. It comes with a 2 year warranty
Thats the moan over, time for the good bits.
I really like the design, I think it looks really good and maybe the fuffs don't show up as much on other colours.
The fit is superb. i was looking for a close fitting jersey with minimal flapping and its perfect. The only possible negative is that the sleeves are a bit short, but it doesn't bother me.
Its also really comfortable. Even though its a blackish jersey, even on hot rides I didn't notice it. It wicks sweat really well and I think the two bigger pockets at the back might be better than the standard three- easier to fit bananas :)
Overall, it shoulda coulda woulda been a really really good jersey, but the quality let it down. I think it was worth the price I paid, which was £45 in the pricedrop.]

" It works well and there has been very little wear over a few weeks regularly using the turbo. I'm not sure if it has dampened any noise or reduced heat production, but it is much better than destroying nice summer tires.
Its a decent price for a turbo tyre but another alternative would be just to by a really cheap tire ( not turbo specific) and use that "

" I got the salmon pink brake pads, as they are meant to be for wet weather and I find that they are a valuable upgrade. I would definately give these a go if you want to improve your braking power, without having to buy new brakes.
They perform well in the rain, they don't grab the rim. The wear seems pretty good- but I've only had them for a month or so. They have a tip on the end which is meant to keep the rims clean, it doesn't work but It doesn't really matter to me and it doesn't take anything away from their performance.
Overall a good way to improve braking power without buying new brakes or spending serious money on swiss stops "

" Pros
Cheap
Held the bottles quite still
Did the job
Cons
The black version rubbed off on the bottles, leaving a black marks on the bottles that couldn't wash off
Just a note, I found that it lasted me about a year, but then it snapped when I hit a pothole on a descent, the bolts weren't too tight, but it snapped
Overall it's cheap and cheerfull, but I will probably spend a little more money next time and get something a bit better "

A tire or a pair?

Just one tire- but you only need one per bike on a turbo
