" I commute about 50 miles a day and recently bought this as an upgrade. Plenty of space, well thought through and quite versatile. Also looks pretty good. The hip/waist strap doesn't do a huge amount to distribute weight onto the hips but then it's hard to do that in a riding position anyhow. I carry a laptop, papers, shoes, trousers, suit, shirt, toiletries, other electronics all in it - and there's plenty of room still for other bits and pieces. Only issue is that it does create the temptation to carry more than you should on your back - but at least that's my issue to deal with :) "

The BBB HeavyDuty overshoes are designed to be tough whilst keeping your feet insulated and protected from adverse weather. The industrial strength full length zip won't let you down and the reflective detailing will help you stay visible at night.

No good in the wet...so not that heavy duty

" I bought these as replacements for a previous set of BBB overshoes which were great. I rarely got wet feet if I was riding in the rain, and if I did it was usually from water running down the legs into the shoes not the overshoes giving in.
I went for these because of the high vis colour (which is good) and assumed they'd be similarly water resistant. Sadly they are not - my feet were heavy and wet in hardly any time. I've switched back to the other ones for now as a result. The fit is a bit looser which I also don't like. Admittedly we've had some pretty wet weather that I've ridden in, but the heavy duty claim would suggest to me they should be able to cope with it.
Good for visibility, and as good as others on wind/warmth but sadly not at all good in the wet/rain. "
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable
Cons: Poor Fit, not good against the rain

" I ordered a large using the sizing chart but they were just slightly too tight (therefore pretty graphic as my wife pointed out!).
I'm 6ft 2in, 34 inch waist, 86 kg - which put me on the cusp of large/extra large on the size chart. Should have known with castelli to err on the larger size.
I'll be ordering the XL when back in stock though as the quality and styling was excellent. Hopefully they won't now be baggy on me.
5 stars still as I suspect this was partly my fault, partly the size chart. "

Excellent - big step up on forerunner 305

" My 305 broke recently and given I cycle more than run these days, very pleased I went for this. Used it a few times now for some long and short rides. Main benefits for me are:
- Size and clarity of screen
- Ease of use with the out front mount, very secure and quick on and off
- Battery life is very good, not got below about 75% after 3 hr 50 mins ride
- Configurability of the screens
- Integration with HRM and cadence
- Speed of acquiring GPS signal - seconds rather minutes compared to the forerunner, massive improvement
Still quite expensive but coming down thanks to the 1000 coming out. Early days but very pleased with my purchase. "

" Had this for one and a half winters now and really like it. Used it all the way down to 2 degrees with just an underarmour layer. Stylish jacket with good athletic fit. I'm 6ft 2 and 86kg, with a muscular than average upper half for a cyclist. Normally tops are too tight on my upper body but this is a good fit. I went for Extra Large. Good warmth and wind protection. Never been cold with this on. Would recommend. "

" I was gutted to find that this helmet was way too small when it arrived - there is no way my head size is off the chart, and I never have an issue with a 61 for motorbike helmets/mtb helmets. I returned the helmet of course, but first impressions were very good, looked nicely put together and looked great. Shame.
Returns process via wiggle was excellent. Wiggle as good as ever. "

" Used these for the first time today and first impressions are as good as the reviews on this website. Great value kit as always from dhb. Toasty, high quality and attractive full length tights.
Only potential negative is the sizing. I followed another reviewers advice on here and bought a size bigger than I thought I'd need and was glad to see they fit just about right. I'm 6' 2" and weigh about 80 kils. The fit on the waste and legs is good, but the over the shoulder fit is quite tight leading to a bit of a wedgy when standing up. On the bike they are fine and loosened up a bit once I got going. If you are taller than me you might want to consider the XXL. "

" Now, I do have a big head but this cap is really rather small. I gave it to my brother and it's a bit small for him too. Shame as it's a good looking bit of kit and it seems to be of good quality. Not the cheapest cap either but you pay for the name of course. "

Does anyone know if a Garmin HR strap works with this product? Thanks!

My garmin one didn't (the one that came with my forerunner) so I bought a polar one instead that works fine with it. Guess it depends on your type of heartrate moitor type.
