" I bought this so I can ice my b0rked knee post-ride without ruining the frozen vegetables in my freezer. I discovered it is actually far superior to frozen peas because the contents remain liquid and moldable to the shape of my knee when freezing instead of being hard and lumpy like peas or beans. It stays very cold for ages too, plenty of time to ice each knee in turn for 20 minutes.
It will become a permanent fixture in my freezer now for any time I need to use it.
I just wrap it in a towel then use that to hold it where I want it. "

" These brake pads came highly recommended by a number of cycling friends, for being very good at stopping you in the wet but also good in the dry.
They have lived up to their good reputation very well and have seemed to be kind on my rims. They also seem to create less of that messy black brake dust on the bike, I'm not sure if this is because they are red and not black.
They were very easy to fit as straight replacements for the original pads in my Shimano R650 calliper brakes.
I have had no problems with squeaking, and their performance in the wet is definitely better than the Shimano ones.

" I decided to add these to my Assos collection, as I already had the bib shorts but wanted to try these for longer rides for ease of use at toilet stops. I was not disappointed, the quality and comfort of the S5 pad is just as good as the bib short version. They have improved the leg grippers so they don't squeeze your thighs or leave a mark, and yet they stay put. Nice cool fast drying fabric.
The waist is designed not to squeeze your stomach and it is very comfy in use. I have had no problems with the waist riding upwards or downwards.
I've done several 120 mile + rides in them in the past couple of months and they are very very comfy.
Once you have tried Assos you won't want to go back to the cheaper brands!

" I bought this to replace a much cheaper Giro helmet because I wanted something more lightweight. This helmet certainly delivers on that front, it is light enough that you can almost forget it's there and doesn't put extra weight on your neck over long distances. I have done 600 miles in it this month.
The diameter adjustment works well and I have found it pretty easy to change it slightly when I am wearing a skull cap underneath in very cold weather. I have found it easier than the dial-type adjustment on my previous helmet because if I slide the 2 adjustment bits out before I put it on I can then easily push them when it's on my head until it is tight enough, and it then stays put. It has a nice comfortable gel pad bit that rests on your forehead.
The ventilation slots seem to allow a good airflow and I haven't had sweaty hair while wearing this. Of course it is January at the moment so the true test will be in the summer, but from the flow I can feel now I think it will be very good in this respect.
I have only one minor criticism of this helmet, and that is that the chin strap adjustment can work it's way looser on really long rides and also if you carry the helmet by the straps when you take it off. I often find myself having to tighten it again when I first put it on. It isn't a big issue but it would have been better if they had designed a way of securely locking the strap when at the correct length.
Overall I would recommend this, it is very light, well ventilated and doesn't make you look like a mushroom-head :) "

What is the size guide for these shorts?

I'm usually a size 8 - but I'm quite tall (175cm) - can you provide a more detailed size guide?

Cheers
I would go with the waist and hip measurement guide and ignore your height for the shorts. I am a UK size 10 and 172cm tall and the medium is just right for me.

Australian standards?

Do you know if this helmet meets Australian standards, or has an Australian standards sticker such as AS/NZS 2063:1995 or AS/NZS 2063:2008 ?
The sticker inside states 'Certified to EN1078', the current European safety standard. I believe not all helmets that satisfy European standards will satisfy Australian or USA ones and vice versa.

That said, I would happily wear mine in Australia.

Mine has a lot no. sticker inside with May 2010 on it (purchased from Wiggle this month).
