Essential for longer rides, Assos Chamois Creme is formulated to reduce friction, inflammation and discomfort. Applied to the skin, it gives a soothing, cooling effect and applied to the short it helps maintain suppleness, elasticity and freshness.

" Once I'd got used to it (it feels a bit cold to begin with), I wouldn't think of using anything else. Anything that helps with a bit of comfort on long rides (or even shortish ones) must be a good thing! It's not the cheapest brand but I think it's well worth it. "

" I held off buying waterproof socks, thinking they're quite expensive for what they are.........and then took the plunge. I rode at Swinley Forest in the tipping rain for a day in October and these made the difference between a really good day and a miserable one! They are brilliant, wish I'd bought them last winter. I kept a pair of thin socks underneath the next week when it was cold and my feet were toasty all day.
Not sure how they'll cope with repeated washing but if I have to get new ones next year, it'll be worth it. "
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive

" Sadly I'm having to send this back as the medium that I ordered came up far too small. Looks like a nice jacket but I would recommend that you go at least one size larger than you need unless you like your clothes EXTREMELY snug. (Arms were nice and long though.) "
Pros: Great Value, Versatile
Cons: Poor Fit

" Being a ginger triathlete I figured I would need some extreme sun lotion! This is a bit tricky to rub in - always looks for a minute like I'm about to swim the channel and being larded up - but once it's on, it really works. I only do sprints by the way but I would defy anyone to get burned doing triathlons and wearing this stuff. Ginger triathletes, don't think twice, get some of this - and get someone to help rub it in! "

" I'm running more at the moment and treated myself to (woo) a new bra.............and then another one exactly the same because it's so good! It doesn't interfere with my HRM strap unlike some previous bras that I have owned. Just pull it up a bit, no problem. This one is fairly seamfree across the cups as well which is always a good thing I reckon. "

" It probably speaks volumes that I'm wearing these as I type and pretty much live in them! They have hip pockets and also pockets on the leg, they're very lightweight and dry quickly, and they're SO comfy as well.
Have to say though I haven't ridden a bike in them much! The liner is thin and I will be using a pair of my own lycra shorts underneath. They are comfy partly because of the, er, low gusset but that can catch on the saddle. I bought these because I was loving my Gore Freeride shorts and these are a far cheaper pair to supplement those (the Gore shorts don't have hip pockets either).
Really good buy for the summer in my opinion. "
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Lightweight
Cons: thin liner

" These are just great; lovely and soft. I gave up trying to find a reasonably-priced pair of ladies' bib tights, and bought these, and I love them. I wear my shorts underneath and stay nice and cosy and it's good that I no longer have to nick my boyfriend's bib tights all the time!
These are an absolute steal for the price and I just can't recommend them highly enough. "

Is it water / sweat proof?

Sweat, hmm, well I've never had a problem with it. Waterproof, absolutely, rub it in in advance though.

Are the ladies baggy shorts water proof?

No, they're not waterproof. But they do dry super-quickly. If you wear actual waterproof shorts surely you'll rustle as you walk - not good.
