" Straight out of the box the pump looked good - a smart wooden handle, sleek barrel and a long, robust tube.
Fitting the pump to the valve proved to be a bit fiddly whilst I was working out the system, and there is a knack to it. I've found that I have to deflate the tyre slightly to about 50psi before the valve can be moved by the pump - after that the pump works effectlively at reinflation to the desired psi.
However, it is very noisy, wheezing and squeaking during the downward push. The dial is silver which is very difficult to read.
Its a shame as the pump does its job - let down by a number of design issues. "
Pros: Attractive
Cons: Low Quality, fiddly to fit, noisy

" What a fantastic sack. Comfortable, lightweight and seems bigger than the stated 20 litres. It has a real quality feel to it which fits the price tag. Lid pocket is a good size and easily accessed via a qulity zipper. I've used it at night and my companions have commented how well the reflective detailing stands out in a headtorch beam. The side pockets are a good size for carrying snacks and energy bars.
Watch out for sizing though, I am 172cm tall and the sack is pretty short, with the waist belt sitting quite high up just below my ribs. "

" These are by far and away the best winter gloves I have ever used on a bike. They are so warm and fit really well. I've worn them down to 1 degree over the last week and my fingers didnt feel the cold at all. I love the way the deep cuff comes up my arms, and I look forward to putting my hands into the gloves, they are just so snuggly. Not only that, but they are not overly bulky. With a slight curvature in the fingers that aids dexterity, gear changing and braking is really comfortable. Well done dhb! "

" I've been really disappointed with this jacket. I bought it for long runs in cold, dry conditions, and it hasnt performed anywhere near as well as I expected.
Its a great looking jacket, with a nice snug, race fit, and it fits me really well. But it is seriously let down by the positioning of the non-windproof panels. The Windslam fabric does a great job of deflecting windchill and headwind away from your body. However, in all hand positions on the bars cold wind finds its way through the non-Windslam fabric straight onto the inside of my upper arms and armpits, making for a really chilly ride. Under the jacket I wear a good quality base layer and the dhb Vaeon Zero bib tights which are fantastically warm and comfortable - but the jacket just isnt up to scratch in anything less than 8 degrees C.
Today I had the bizarre experience of feeling the warmth of a French winter sun on my back and yet was perishing cold under my arms.
The rear pockets are cavernous and a great size for winter essentials. However, they are made from a stretchy material which is already sagging after less than 15 hours of winter riding. And all I'm carrying in the pockets is a spare tube, a small repair kit and pump, mobile phone and an energy bar.
Looks great in the cafe, but doesnt deliver on the bike. "
Pros: Attractive, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices, not warm enough

" My second pair of HardWear Shoe Covers having worn the previous pair out over 4 winters. I had no hesitation in replacing the old pair with these, the fit my shoes perfectly and provide a good weatherproof seal. Quite tough and very fit for purpose.
Note that the Wiggle image is of the old version of the Shoe Covers, the new version are very understated with less reflective stripes on the side. Not too important to me as I dont ride in the dark but if you want lots of reflectivity on your shoes these are very black! "

" Lovely pair of tights, there is a real feeling of quality to them and all the features are well thought out. They are the first pair of tights I have ever owned which really do keep your lower back warm.
The foot loops are very thoughtfully designed and the chunky front zip is well positioned for toilet breaks and getting the tights off.
Fit - I am 172cm tall, 65kg, and went for Size Small - perfect fit, the pad fits well and the leg length was perfect (I'm 29.5 inch inside leg). Mind you, I like my cycling clothing to have an athletic, figure hugging cut and these are definitely on the close fitting side.
Temperature wise, I have used them in temperatures down to 3 degrees with a strong wind blowing - felt a slight chill on the front of my thighs but the conditions were pretty harsh and I was more than happy with their performance.
Unfortunately I was attacked by a dog the other day and took a tumble off the bike - net result one trashed pair of tights. So I've just ordered another pair...... "

" A good looking bar that is comfortable and strong. Typical Easton quality - although I do wish that the black finish didnt rub off so easily. Sliding levers etc onto the bar immediately rubbed the lovley graphics and finish on the bar. Overall though, great value on Wiggle and a nice light bar. "

" These bars are great, they are shaped nicely to fit into a rear pocket and are absolutely delicious. They are very filling although there is a slightly fatty quality to them which initially I found a bit offputting. Now that I am used to that they are one of my favourite energy foods. They do leave you feeling a little thirsty however I dont view this as a bad thing, rather a reminder to keep drinking.
Top tip, open them wrapping up first before putting them into your pocket as they are difficult to open when you are on the bike - you cant do it one handed or with your teeth! "
Pros: tasty, filling, fit for purpose!
Cons: difficult to open, slightly fatty taste

" What a fantastic helmet to wear! Really light, and a great fit. The build quality is excellent and from the moment I put it on for the first time the helmet was so comfortable I barely noticed I was wearing it.
The titanium grey colour looks great and it was easy to clean when I got it dirty. I've owned various Giro helmets in the past and they have always stood up to the test.
Only one slight critiscism - the visor is a bit on the small side and could do with being another cm or so longer. Apart from that, its a fantastic lid! "

Cons: small visor

dhb Team Wiggle Honda Bib Short
As the official team kit supplier of the Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling Team, dhb are proud to present the 2014 Wiggle Honda Padded Bib Short.

Same as Aeron Pro Bib Shorts?

Are these essentially another colour option of the dhb Aeron Pro shorts, or are the materials different, with extra team magic built in? Some of the panels look like a different fabric - is that the case, or is the contrast just black and grey colour sections?

I've got the Aeron Pro and Wiggle Honda shorts and they are different material. The WH top and shorts are superb - the material is super lightweight, moves moisture out quickly, and the fit is a racing fit, which I like. I've had lots of positive comments from other riders on appearance as well - definitely recommended!

Will a Shimano Ultegra 6600 short cage rear mech be able to cope with the 28 large sprocket on the 11-28 6700 cassettel

Top 1000 Contributor
Top 1000 Contributor
Hi
In a word, no. I have a Dura Ace 7800 short cage rear mech and fitted an Ultegra 11-28 6700 cassette (replacing a 12-25). Although the chain shifts smoothly onto the cassette, there is the occasional shudder and click in the rear derailleur, which sounds awful and isnt comfortable. Better to stick with the max 27t cassette recommended in the Shimano tech docs!
