" have bought a few of these in my time for the various tourers I own and overall they are satisfactory bar two things:
Firstly they are not waterproof even with the cover on the bag. I have had to dry them out after a bout of rain riding!
Secondly, the size is limited to a few things - useful little pockets however but all in all space restricted.
In summary day riding fine, touring holiday look elsewhere

" Got the 3XL size - after using the sizing indicator - put it on and guess what - far too tight - it is the chest area that seems the problem - have worn it once and sadly never again - so beware, if you are Anglo Saxon and full framed, look elsewhere - hugely sad! "

" thick gauge alimimium but light enough - these appear bullet proof and would seem to be ideal if you are undertaking serious cyclo-touring. Go great with my big Ortilab bags, with enough struts to get a perfect quiet fitting - feeling great so far "

" These were purchased so that I could fit my new Ortileb bags with their quick release mechanism.
Fitted onto the Thorn steel front forks with ease and the cutouts matched the lugs exactly. This was something in which I expected a bit of trouble, so I was very pleased when they matched up perfectly.
Light and strong and as long as you keep the weight of the front bags to the recommended maximum, allows the rider to manoeuvre and steer with ease
Very recommended addition in terms of strength and value to the front forks.
