" I have had my box about 7 years and have used it over 17 times with no damage to the bike
I have to take the rear derailleur, as well as the usual bits, off of my focus size 55 to get it in comfortably. I constructed a support out of a broom handle to go through the wheel bags from one side of the case to the other to stop the box being being squashed . The handlers do not treat the boxes gently . I have seen them drop the bags off of the trucks.
How ever lots of bits have fallen off the box . The towing handle is pretty weak and went fairly early on. On large wheel fell off but luckily I got a free replacement from wiggle to fix that. The rubber wheels on the small castors have both gone . Managed to re- pop rivet some new ones on this week end in anticipation for the travelling season . One of the locks just fell off . fortunately not crucial, I may replace that if I can get one from wiggle.
£170 for 17 journeys... £10 a time .. is that good value? Possibly
So , it is still going, just, but they get a good kicking.
